ESAM Member Company Representation at the Upcoming Atlantic Supplier Advisory Council

ESAM is seeking interest from our ESAM Member Companies to provide a representative to participate in the upcoming (virtual) Atlantic Supplier Advisory Council (SAC) meeting, Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 10 am to 12 noon (ADT). Information on the SAC is provided below.

Interested companies are asked to submit the name, title, organization and email address for the representative recommended to attend from your organization to ESAM (contact@esamaritimes.ca) by Friday, June 11.  ESAM will confirm attendance by June 14.

For those companies that are not able to attend, SAC would still like to hear from you.  As ESAM is a co-chair for the Atlantic region, we can bring concerns or recommendations to the meeting on behalf of our membership. If you have comments regarding the Federal procurement process, please send us an email at contact@esamaritimes.ca.

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) sponsors the SAC, a body formed of federal procurement officials and representatives of industry associations, social business organizations (e.g., women-in-business groups, indigenous economic development groups), regional business bodies (e.g., chambers of commerce) and individual private-sector companies who supply goods and services to the Government of Canada.  The group meets four times per year (once in each Atlantic province) to inform the membership about changes and improvements and directions in federal procurement, and to hear from suppliers and their representatives about their concerns, recommendations and views on a wide range of procurement-related topics.

If you have any questions, please direct them to (contact@esamaritimes.ca).
