ESAM Annual General Meeting 2022

Before the days of COVID, ESAM typically held a site tour at a location with an environmental theme in conjunction with our AGM. As we continue to transition to a post-COVD state, we are once again organizing a site tour.

With today’s global focus on environmental sustainability and climate change adaptation, we selected the IKEA store in Dartmouth Crossing as the location. IKEA was chosen based on their commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.

IKEA’s sustainability commitments include the products they sell and the way they operate. Examples include the planned elimination of plastics in consumer packaging, a commitment to use only recycled or renewable-based plastic in their products by 2030, programs to allow customers to recycle or reuse IKEA products, sustainable foods in their food kiosks and the use of renewable energy at their locations.

The tour is scheduled for 10h00AM-12h00PM, Thursday June 2, 2022 at their Dartmouth Crossing location (645 Cutler Ave, Dartmouth).

Due to remaining COVID restrictions, the tour will be limited to a maximum of 15 people.
