ESAM Curling – 07 March 2024

ESAM is excited to announce the return of our pre-COVID premier event and the first social event for 2024…Curling! We hope you can find time from your busy schedule to join us on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at the Mayflower Curling Club (3000 Monaghan Drive, Halifax). Arrival time is between 12:00 and 12:45 PM followed by a start at 1:00 PM. Games will continue until 2:30, followed by a social gathering from 2:30 to 3:30. Light snacks will be provided after the curling, and each attendee will get a beverage of their choice. Bar services will be available at the facility.

Participants should bring clean indoor footwear (such as sneakers) with good traction and comfortable (stretchy) pants. The curling club will provide any additional gear that you need. You will be playing in a cold ice rink, so dress appropriately. For those needing it, practice and instruction will be available between 12:00 and 12:30. Please let us know if you can help provide instruction. Participants may have to sign a waiver before going on the ice.

To promote networking, this will be individual entry. We will ask you to indicate your skill level upon arrival and use this to make up balanced teams of 4 players.

Cost is $50 for the first person for member companies and $75 for the first person for non-member companies. Additional registrants in the same group are $35 per person.

We are looking forward to seeing existing and prospective new members at this event. We encourage you to sign up early to help gauge if we have sufficient numbers.
